Washing Machines

Washing machines are a pretty great invention, they save a lot of work, I'm not sure about how much power they use up, but they are pretty great, especially for washing big items like sleeping bags, and comforters. There are smaller hand powered washing machines now for $50, they look pretty good, and good reviews.

I watched a video on youtube of people who were traveling the world and didn't use any luggage, they just had like two pairs of clothes, one pair they wore and another pair in their pockets, a jacket with stuff like tooth brush and toothpaste, phone charger...

there is a life is good phone on sale now at metropcs, 5 megapixel camera with flash... latest android, and only fifty bucks! that is about the maximum amount of equipment i would not want to have sleeping on the streets, but if your surroundings are more secure, say couch surfing or staying at hostels or hotels or something, then having a tablet or netbook could be badass too... only thing is it's just more shit to carry of course.

So having just a smart phone is convenient, and using an actual laptop or something is convenient too. both have there pros and cons. tablets are sort of in the middle. a head mounted display would be terrific but are expensive. so considering that it's now the time where smart phones are kind of cheap, and the quality of service isn't too expensive either, it might be worth it to just have the smart phone.

the one i have now, is like half of what is out now... but it works well enough. having a flash would be nice for taking pictures. and i think the newer ones have faster processors and more memory. so it's something i can save up for.

that leaves the questions of gaming. i think it would still be good to have a home somewhere, maybe a mobile home but something nice, that i can afford. the room i have now is pretty nice, and starting to settle in. I think I'm more settled in here than I've ever been.
