how to post

would like to share this blog with the world, but perhaps not everything... that could be somewhat tricky since i really don't feel like going back and setting specific posts to private but i guess that's the best way to do that. also, i don't want to always have to consider what is safe to publish or whatever... and what isn't. so i figure i will just blog a lot here, perhaps as a sand box, maybe i can create different layers of content.
