have guitar, will travel

if i don't have to keep my apartment, and work while i travel, then i can couch surf, but that might not be my thang. what do I want to do? I want to travel to specific places to see my family and friends.

I figure I need about $1,000 to $3,000 per trip, and that is going thrifty. There are three one thousand dollar trips that i can think of off the top of my head, that I should make. i can think of one more at least, however, if I do three of them back to back, it will cost significantly less.

So, in that situation, three could cost $2,000 or less. Then there's two that are $3,000, so maybe $5,000 total, to travel to five cities. And maybe can stop in a couple cities or towns along the way, that wont cost anything extra, could hang out with friends, maybe stay with friends, or couch surf, or rent a room, and eat some place nice.

So $5,000 should set me straight for five major places, but there's a sixth that's important, that will cost maybe $4,000 or $5,000 in itself. Hopefully I can travel to some neighboring regions as well.

$10,000 is a lot of money. Perhaps I could work a lot and save up that much. If so, I will need a plan, and to figure out how much time I can spend everywhere, etc. Better to just be free and be able to come and go as I please. Maybe if I just keep my room, I can learn a way to live free, and be happy, and do good work, and travel...


So $930 minus rent of $503 is $427. Minus cell phone bill of $50 is $377. minus internet bill of $42 is $335. Maybe I can drop my internet bill eventually, or pause it temporarily

So I have $335 to work with. Maybe I could get two weeks at a weekly hotel, I might hold out all month, and stay in a hotel the last week, and save $160. but would need money for food perhaps, and living outside for three weeks a month... would be rather tough, especially in the winter...wait wtf am i talking about... with $335, I'm saying I would still have my room... so... shit, brain fart...

So I have $335 to work with. My meals are covered if I can make it on time. hmm, I could buy a ps3 and ac3, that would be badass... it would be difficult to see the screen, maybe i could order some contacts if i could come up with some more money...

only things I really need (apparently) money for at the moment are cigarettes, and... medicine.

american spirits are $6 each, i could smoke about 15 packs in a month. which would cost $90 unless I get cartons if they're cheaper.

if i have $335 every month, basically, i can pay off my debt in six month if i deposite $100 a month,
that leaves me with $235...

so minus cigs... $145

and save half of that for a trip to st. pete...
